Privacy and Security:
Almeda University has their privacy statement listed
on their home page, and offers their students a secure application
form. This helps insure the student's information is private to
the school only. We where very happy to see Almeda University is
using an independent consumer protection service with credit fraud
protection and Verisign Validation. Almeda University received 5
out of 5 stars for Privacy and Security.
At a Glance from the Editor:
After reviewing Almeda University, we found their site to be very informative and full of information.
They even have an Alumni section with a career center and bookstore located on their home page. This shows
us that they go the extra mile for Alumni.
We are confident that Almeda University is a Credible school. Almeda University has gone the
extra lengths in student privacy and security. Almeda is the only university listed to
offer an installment payment plan and one of only two Universities (Bronté International
is the other) to receive and display legitimate consumer ratings.
But, Almeda has a long application form which is cumbersome and slow at times. The application page
is 5 pages long and requires detailed information (no wonder they require a username and password).
Also, Almeda does not offer Ph.D. degrees and they will not provide "cum laudé" or "with honers" degrees.
